Ningxia Medical University NXMU 宁夏医科大学 Founded in 1958, it is located in Yinchuan city within the Ningxia Province. Ningxia Medical University covers an area of nearly 833,000 ㎡ and has a construction area of 293,200 ㎡, which includes the old campus and new campus. It is the only higher medical school in Ningxia.

Fee Schedule September 2026:

Ningxia Medical University offers different programs for international students. Medicine and Dentistry Programs are more competitive, as the tuition fee is more affordable compared to the other English-taught Medical Schools in China.

There are no requirements for HSK-4 to pass in the first year because Ningxia Medical University has been approved by the Ministry of Education of China to teach medicine (MBBS) and dentistry (BDS) programs in English.

Ningxia Medical University admission requirements:

International students aspiring to enroll in the MBBS/BDS or Pharmacy programs at Ningxia Medical University must adhere to the specified admission standards.

• The student must appear in the CSCA Exam (Physics, chemistry and Mathematics).
• The IELTS or TOEFL exams are not required for the application process.
• Students must be under the age of 25 years. NXMU admits students who are under the age of 18.
• Students must have 60% marks in English and PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) courses.
• Students must be fluent in English and healthy.
• Students must show sufficient funds ($5000-$7000) in their bank statements.

Note: Ningxia Medical University will conduct the online interview before the issuance of acceptance letters. Students are required to pay their tuition fees soon after the issuance of the acceptance letter (Pre-admission letter) within the deadline mentioned on the pre-admission letter.

Ningxia Medical University MBBS/BDS Fee Structure for International Students 2026-2027:

The annual cost of the MBBS/BDS program at Ningxia Medical University is 34,800 RMB (about $5,000), including both tuition and lodging fees. The annual fee for MBBS/BDS for Pakistani students at Ningxia Medical University is approximately 14 lakh PKR. This cost excludes food expenditures, estimated at 1000 RMB per month ($150). Internship: The sixth year of the internship, during which students are required to pay half of the tuition fee, which is 14,900 RMB. In contrast, BDS students are required to pay the complete tuition fee for the final year of the internship. Students are not allowed to do internships outside of China.

Special Notes:

1. Students will pay the Fee in Chinese Yuan (RMB). There will be no refund for the first paid fee.
2. The fee package does not include food expenses or air ticket charges.
3. Pakistani Students will follow the rules and Regulations at PMDC and Ningxia Medical University.

The General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University is located on Shengli Street, Xingqing District, Yinchuan City, Ningxia. It is a comprehensive tertiary-level hospital. This hospital boasts the largest scale, a robust technical force, state-of-the-art medical equipment, and a diverse group of experts and talents in the province.

The hospital covers an area of ​​more than 242,000 square meters, with a construction area of ​​more than 266,000 square meters. The general hospital (including the cancer hospital) opened 3233 beds throughout the year, with a total of 139,7042 patient visits.
